A consular POA skips the apostille entirely, so when a consulate appointment is available soon in your city it is usually the quickest path. Where appointments are scarce, a Canadian-notarized POA with an apostille from ODS or JLAC often finishes sooner overall. We compare both for your dates.

Can one POA cover property, bank, and inheritance matters?

A single POA can cover several actions when they genuinely belong to one mandate, but Ukrainian practice favours purpose-written texts. Where actions differ sharply, we split them into separate POAs so no notary questions the scope.

A Ukrainian notary rejected my POA. Can it be fixed?
